BYTON and SK Telecom Partner on Digital Mobility Platform

Las Vegas, January 7, 2020 BYTON today announced that it has agreed with SK Telecom, the largest mobile network operator in Korea, to jointly develop a strategic cooperation on its digital mobility platform.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding, BYTON and SK Telecom will discuss the integration of SK Telecom’s digital products and services into BYTON’s vehicles, in order to enhance the experience for Korean customers. Both parties will also explore cooperation in distribution and after-sales channels as well as mobility services to tap the business opportunities in the Korean EV market.

The MOU signing ceremony took place at CES 2020 in Las Vegas with the attendance of senior executives of both companies including Dr. Daniel Kirchert, CEO of BYTON and Ryu Young-sang, Vice President and Head of MNO Business of SK Telecom.

Dr. Daniel Kirchert, CEO of BYTON said: "SK Telecom has abundant technical expertise and resources in information communication and data services sector. It also announced a wide range of partnerships and launched the BYTON Developer Program to enliven the user experience, centered on its iconic 48-inch display, the BYTON Stage.
